MAN SHOT IN CAR

A 20-year-old man was in critical condition Sunday night after an apparent drive-by shooting, police said.

Kendrick McClease, 20, of the 1500 block of Manson St. was sitting in a black Mercury in the 1100 block of Wilson Road about 4:40 p.m. when another car came by and someone in it opened fire.

McClease, who was shot in the head, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Police said that the circumstances leading to the shooting were unclear and that there were no suspects.
