PETA GETS A HAND FROM A CELEBRITY

is helping PETA's Dan Mathews, left,stopped briefly at the Front

Street building en route to London after spending the weekend in

Washington for the national animal rights march. ``We're here to put

Norfolk on the map,'' Hynde said. ``Virginia is for animal lovers,

that's our motto.'' RIGHT: Dean Winters, who works for a Chesapeake
