A man was accidentally shot in the arm at a friend's house over the weekend, police said.
The shooting occurred about 9:50 p.m. Sunday at the home of Bryant Miller in the 2000 block of Holland Road.
Thomas T. Ashley, 23, of the 300 block of Highland Ave. was in the bedroom, while Miller and another friend were in the next room looking at a .22-caliber pistol, said police spokesman Mike Simpkins. A round came through the wall, striking Ashley in the left arm, Simpkins said.
He was treated in the emergency room at Obici Hospital and later released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
