EDITH E. CURRY

Edith Elizabeth Curry, 16, a wonderful child is gone, but during her time on this earth she touched many in very unique ways. She was unique. She was special. She was beautiful. She was one of a kind. God broke the mold after she was born. She took to her heart other people's problems until there was no more room for her own.

Edith attended Cox High School where she played cello in the orchestra and was a ``Teckie'' for the Drama Department. She was a member of Foundry United Methodist Church and active in the youth group.

She is survived by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Keith J. Curry; a sister, Bridget Curry; brothers, William Pedigo IV of Atlanta, and Robert Pedigo of Fairbanks, Alaska; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Luczak of Alameda, Calif.; paternal grandmother, Mary Curry of Norfolk; a great-grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Lynch of Everett, Mass.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a great-grandmother, Mrs. Gay I. Smith.

A memorial service will be held at Foundry United Methodist Church, 2801 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, Thursday at 7 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Foundry Youth or a favorite charity in Edith's name.
