MONA P. PERRY

Mona Pannell Perry, 89, of the 1100 block of Seaboard Ave., died June 25, 1996.

Mrs. Perry, the widow of John Arthur Perry, was a native of Narrows, Va. She was a retired salesperson from W.T. Grant Department Store. She was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church, Chesapeake, D.A.R., and the Niners Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Gloria P. Scarano of Chesapeake; a son, Donald L. Perry of Chesapeake; a sister, Virginia Richardson of San Diego, Calf.; five grandchildren, David Scarano, Steven Scarano, Teresa Scarano, Curtis Lee Perry and Kim Chiusano, all of Chesapeake; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her father, Charles Boone Pannell; her mother, Dolly Clark Pannell; and her stepmother, Julia Pannell.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Roger Mardis in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at 208 Las Gaviotas Blvd., Chesapeake, at all other times.
