Dorothy Rose Wilson Scott, 73, of the 700 block of Burksdale Road, died June 24, 1996 in her home.
Mrs. Scott, a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, had been active in Sunday School and the Women's Circle. She was currently a member of Miles Memorial Methodist Church. During her life she touched many people with her loving-kindness and generosity and will be remembered for her sweet ways.
Mrs. Scott, a native of Norfolk, is survived by her husband, Warner Scott; three children, Judith Bondi of Sugar Grove, N.C., Cheryl Brown of Virginia Beach, and Samuel Scott of High Point, N.C.; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Curling of Norfolk and many loving relatives.
The family will receive friends at home. A memorial service will be held at Miles Memorial Methodist Church on Thursday at 10 a.m.
