Billie B. Turner, died in a Norfolk hospital on Friday, June 21, 1996.
He was a native of Vance County, N.C. He was a self-employed carpenter and a former member of Mt. Olive Holiness Church.
He is survived by his mother, Ms. Josephine F. Turner, of Franklin; eight sisters, Mary E. Williams of Newburg, N.Y., Lucy T. Jefferson and Lillian T. Mason, both of Norfolk, the Rev. Pauline T. Majette and Daisy M. Turner both of Franklin, Fannie T. Pine of Stafford, Va., Annie T. Wilson and Kc McMurren both of Chesapeake; six brothers, Lemuel Turner and Samuel H. Turner, both of Norfolk, James E. Turner and W. Robert Turner, both of Franklin, Nathaniel Turner of Newport News, and the Rev. Joseph Turner Sr. of Pikesville, Md.; four aunts; 269 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Holiness Church, Hwy. 258, Franklin, Va. The Rev. C.L. Myrick will be officiating. Family will receive friends at 209 Thomas Street where also the line up will take place at 11:30 a.m. Entrusting Hands Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of arrangements.
