The 20-year-old victim of an apparent drive-by shooting Sunday night died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Monday morning, police said.
Kendrick McClease of the 1500 block of Manson St. was shot in the head.
Police said McClease was sitting in a black Mercury in the 1100 block of Wilson Road about 4:40 p.m. when another car came by and someone in it opened fire.
Police said the circumstances leading to the shooting were unclear.
They are asking that anyone with information call Crime Line at 664-4040.
