CLIO B. COOKE

Clio Miles Bradshaw Cooke, 91, a lifelong resident of Southampton County, died Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at East Pavilion, Franklin.

She was the widow of George Bradshaw and George T. Cooke Jr. She was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church, the Homemaker's Class and the Women's Missionary Society.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ophelia White Miles; an aunt, Viola Miles Bunn, both of Newsoms; and several cousins. Mrs. Cooke was the sister of the late George T. Miles and the aunt of the late George T. Miles Jr.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ken Williams. Memorial donations may be made to the Newsoms Baptist Church, Newsoms, Va. 23874. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling the arrangements.
