Rezoning, group housing project, use permits, code amendment and Comprehensive Plan:
Ordinance granting a rezoning application of River Pointe Associates to amend conditions of the zoning district to allow condominiums.

Resolution granting the group housing project application of River Pointe Associates for 45 single-family, detached condominium units on River Pointe Drive.

Resolution granting the use-permit modification application of Sandra Pinnock to expand operation of a child day and preschool center from 60 children to 86 children at 1220 Cavalier Blvd.

Resolution granting the use-permit application of Bishops Green, L.L.C., to construct a sanitary sewage pump station within the Bishops Green II section.

The addition of this work will not exceed the 25 percent allowable increase for change orders.

Ordinance to amend Chapter 34 of the city code pertaining to the operation of swimming pools. The Director of Public Health is requesting the city code be amended to bring it into compliance with standards and requirements established by the State Health Department.

Resolution to approve refunding of $5.3 million in housing revenue bonds for Churchland Forest Apartments, off Towne Point Road. Neither the full faith and credit, nor the moral obligation of the city is pledged in support of the bonds.

Motion to transfer $20,000 from the Grants Contingency Account to reimburse the Police Department for costs associated with the training of police officers under the Troops to Cops program.

Motion to transfer $41,777 from the Grants Contingency Account for the Police Department and Public Schools to expand their School Liaison Officer Program into the middle schools. The Department of Criminal Justice Services awarded the City of Portsmouth a grant award of $41,777 to pay for one officer to be assigned to a middle school for one year.
