Trudy Johnson, 68, died June 26, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Chicago, Ill., and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She was a former church secretary for Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Falls Church, Va., and the Lutheran Church of Saint Luke in Itasca, Ill.
Survivors include her husband, Harold E. Johnson; a son, Bruce A. Johnson and his wife Patricia E. Johnson of Stephens City, Va.; a daughter, Bonnie J. Ayers and her husband, Dr. Richard B. Ayers of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Brian Ayers, Steven Ayers and Nathan Johnson.
The graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Edwin J. Nicklas in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
