Ellen Francis Voltz, 59, died June 27, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Voltz, the widow of William Edward Voltz, was a native of Chicago, Ill. She attended Beloit College in Beloit, Wisc. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Edward Voltz of Virginia Beach; three brothers, David Francis of Downers Grove, Ill., George Francis of Springfield, Ill., and Thomas Francis of Phoenix, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Erin Voltz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Francis.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Bruce D. Tuttle in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Darien, Ill. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. The body will be sent to Toon Funeral Home, Downers Grove, Ill., for services and burial.
