CARL D. MINNICK

Carl Douglas Minnick, 67, died Thursday, June 27, 1996, in Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Va.

Husband of the late Frances Bowman Minnick, he is survived by his sister, Mary Ruth Minnick; brothers, Glenn Minnick and Harry Minnick, all of McLean, Va.; four children, Linda M. Shoup of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Constance A. Tartaglia of Manassas, Robert B. Minnick of Currituck, N.C., and Jolea B. Harrison of Montgomery, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Katherine Frances Harrison, Mary Grace Tartaglia and Benjamin Bowman Harrison.

Mr. Minnick was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a chief of staff from the Central Intelligence Agency after 25 years of service. He then worked as a security consultant in Europe, the Caribbean and South America.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Lee Funeral Home, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in National Memorial Park Cemetery, Falls Church, Va. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the children's hospital of your choice.
