NORFOLK SPCA ISN'T ACCEPTING ANIMALS DURING RENOVATIONS

Beginning today, the Norfolk SPCA will not accept new animals into the shelter due to renovations to the kennel and office areas. During construction, which will take about a month, the public can take animals to the Norfolk Animal Management Services shelter at 5585 Sabre Road, off Raby Road near Janaf Shopping Center or call 664-7387.

The SPCA will continue to be open for viewing and adoptions from noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The adoption satellite at Janaf PetsMart will be open as usual.

The SPCA expects to reopen the shelter to incoming animals at the end of July. If you have questions, please call the Norfolk SPCA at 622-3319. by CNB
