Edith Gottlieb Berke of Forest Hills, N.Y., and Margate, Fla., died June 12, 1996, in Forest Hills, N.Y.
She was the widow of Morton E. Berke and the daughter of the late Leon Gottlieb and Pauline Gottlieb. She was predeceased by siblings, Alex Gottlieb and Jessie Gottlieb, both of Norfolk.
Survivors include brothers, David Gottlieb of San Francisco, Murray (Moses) Gottlieb of Queens, N.Y., and Bay Lake Pines, Fla., Jack (Issac) Gottlieb and wife Goldie of Bay Lake Pines, Fla., Sam Gottlieb of Great Neck, N.Y., and Ansell Gottlieb of Norfolk; sisters, Eva Sandler of Bay Lake Pines, Fla., Rose Rosenthal of Queens, N.Y., Ida Kirschbaum of North Miami, Fla., and Queens, N.Y., and Marion Gottlieb Goldman and husband, Dr. Milton Goldman of Chesapeake; and 30 nieces and nephews.
