Russell Edwin Neal Jr., 46, of the 2200 block of Lockheed Ave., died Monday, July 1, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Neal was the son of Evelyn Owens Neal of Chesapeake and the late Russell Edwin Neal Sr. He was the senior project manager at Advanced Management Inc. He was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include his sister, Peggy Parks; his three daughters, Nicole, Summer and Brooke Neal, all of Chesapeake; Pamela Neal and Mary S. Hull; numerous nieces and nephews; and his many friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Ben Goggin and the Rev. Tom Mercer. Interment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and at other times at the residence on Lockheed Avenue and Loxdell Court.
Memorial contributions may be made to the City of Chesapeake Parks and Recreation Department or to the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad.
