Vaughn L. Hensley, 51, of the 900 block of Rowland Ave., died July 1, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mr. Hensley was born in Johnson City, Tenn., and was a Baptist. He was a construction foreman and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Hensley; two sons, Frank D. Hensley and Richard T. Hensley, both of Moyock, N.C.; his mother, Frankie Delores Hensley of Johnson City, Tenn.; five sisters, Ruth Davis of Irving, Texas, Linda Couch of Jonesboro, Tenn., Effie Shupe and Carol Carver of Jonesboro, N.C., Cynthia Miller of Johnson City, Tenn.; and a brother, Larry Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Terry Beck. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
