Mattielene Taylor King, 101, a longtime resident of Surry, died July 1, 1996, in Westminster Canterbury in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. King was born in Richmond and was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ Holiness in Surry. She was the widow of Dr. Percy C. King and the mother of the late Dr. Nancy King.
Services will be held at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston on Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Claud W. McCauley. Friends may call at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
