Elizabeth ``Betty'' Hankins, 91, died Tuesday, July 2, 1996.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Centurion, Fort Monroe by the Rev. Rodney L. Caulkins. The family and friends will gather afterwards at VFW Post 3219 in Phoebus. Memorials may be sent to the ``Star Hankins Fund'' to benefit Elizabeth ``Star'' Hankins, P.O. Box 3494, Hampton 23663. R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home is arranging the services.
