Jae Michael Kirby, 35, died June 26, 1996, in Greenville, N.C.
Mr. Kirby was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a painter for Allstate Construction Co. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary L. Kirby.
Survivors include his son, Jaeson Kirby of Virginia Beach; father, George W. Kirby Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Joan L. Beaver and her husband, Charles, of Houston, Texas; a brother, Jerome F. Kirby and his wife, Sandra, of Virginia Beach; a niece, Sherri Smith; three nephews, Christian J. Kirby of Chesapeake, Michael Beaver and Charles Beaver III, both of Houston, Texas; and three great nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Talmadge T. Markham Jr. in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Haven Children's Home, 3000 N. Landing Road, Virginia Beach 23456.
