Willie Clinton Vinson, of the 100 block of Frizzell Ave., died June 30, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Born in Pendleton, N.C., he was a member of Emmanuel Temple Community Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Vinson; three daughters; six sons; a brother; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday by Pastor Thelma Sumner in Full Gospel Apostolic Holiness Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
