MARY M. BAILEY

Mary M. Bailey, of the 1100 block of Logan St., died June 28, 1996, in a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was a member of Hood Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Norfolk. She was a custodian for the City of Norfolk for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence W. Bailey of Norfolk; a daughter, Tania Brown of Norfolk; four sons, Boris Brown of Stafford, Va., Jewell Brown and Marlon Brown, both of Norfolk, and Audie Brown of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Annie Reid of Norfolk; a brother, Linwood Bonney of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Jacqueline McFadden.

A funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday by Dr. Clarence Cuffee in Hood Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
