Lillie Birdsong Ferguson, 86, of Route 1, died July 2, 1996.
Mrs. Ferguson was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church and the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia Cook Birdsong.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice E. Ferguson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ricky Barnes and the Rev. Franklin Stansbury. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Jackson Funeral Home, Jackson, N.C., today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
