EDWARD L. KING

Edward Lee King, known as Ed Lee, of the 700 block of E. Chester St., died July 1, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General.

He was retired from the Golden Triangle Hotel. Born in Washington, D.C., he was a C.O.G.I.C.

Survivors include his wife, Sudie E. King of Baltimore, Md.; five daughters, Delores Brown of Washington, D.C., Valentina King of New Rochelle, N.Y., Barbara Simmons, Cheryl Crowder and Aleta King, all of Baltimore; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted noon Friday by the Rev. Barry R. Simmons in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at his home at 11 a.m. for the procession.
