DISTRICT A

Petty larceny, 4900 block Bennetts Pasture Road, June 20, someone removed an Artley clarinet from a locker.

Breaking and entering, 6900 block Respass Beach Road, June 20, someone broke into a residence by kicking open a garage door that led inside the home. Once inside, the following items were removed: $90 in U.S. currency, a GE VCR, two RCA VCRs, a 19-inch Sharp TV, a 19-inch RCA TV, a Pioneer rack stereo system, four Bose speakers, a Kenwood stereo rack system, a 1983 Franklin High School class ring, and a diamond ring with gold wedding band.

Drug possession, 4200 block Coletrane Avenue, June 26, a crack cocaine smoking device was discovered in someone's pants pocket during a search.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 4100 block Godwin Boulevard, June 22, someone entered a business by pulling open a greenhouse door which had been secured with a hook latch. Once inside, the office was searched.

Motor vehicle theft, 10 block Brown Lane, June 25, someone removed a silver, 88 Chevrolet Astro Van from a driveway.

Grand larceny, 2800 block Pruden Boulevard, June 26, someone entered a hotel room and removed $80, a Pusser Gold stainless wristwatch, and a gold link bracelet.

DISTRICT C

Motor vehicle theft, Western Avenue and Church Street, June 20, a woman parked her red, two-door, '90 Plymouth Sundance on the road and went to work. She received a call from a friend advising that a man was tampering with automobiles in that area. The owner then returned to find her car missing.

Grand larceny, 700 block North Main Street, June 21, someone removed 75 used tires valued at $750 from the rear of a business.

Armed robbery, 900 block West Washington Street, June 22, someone reports that while washing his car, he was approached by a man who aimed a shotgun at his chest and demanded money. The robber threatened to shoot. The man turned over his wallet and the robber fled the scene.

DISTRICT C Attempted rape, Church Street area, June 23, a woman reports that while she was walking home a man grabbed her and tried to pull her underwear off. She struck her attacker on the face with her shoe. The assailant may have a mark or bruise on his face as a result.

Lost/stolen, 200 block Locust Street, June 23, someone reports that her temporary tags were lost or stolen from her vehicle.

Forgery, NationsBank, June 26, someone attempted to write a check in the amount of $130 on a stolen check.

DISTRICT D

Motor vehicle theft, 200 block Spruce Street, June 20, someone loaned a white, 4-door, 88 Chevrolet Celebrity to an associate. The woman parked the car and returned to discover it missing.

Breaking and entering, 2200 block East Washington Street, June 20, while on patrol, a police officer noticed a man climbing to the second story of a residence and prying the window open. The thief fled on discovery, leaving a knife behind.

Petty larceny, 400 block North 4th Street, June 21, someone removed a Suffolk city decal and an inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Woodrow Avenue, June 22, someone ripped open the screen on a back porch door to remove a five-speed Hyper mountain bike with orange and green stripes and a black Ralley sport bike.

Motor vehicle theft, 400 block Webb Street, June 22, someone discovered the driver's side door to his vehicle partially open. Upon further investigation, he found that the ignition had been punched.

Motor vehicle theft, 200 block Walnut Street, June 22, a man heard his car door close as he was getting ready for work. He looked outside and saw two men in his car. He tried to confront them but they ran behind the elementary school.

Grand larceny auto, 500 block Riddick Circle, June 22, a woman returned home to discover her red, 4-door, '92 Dodge Shadow missing. A neighbor witnessed three men driving away in the car.

Petty larceny, 1000 block Cogic Square, June 23, someone removed a front license plate that belonged on an '80 Ford EXP.

Lost/stolen, 700 block Dumville Avenue, June 23, someone removed a front license plate from a vehicle.

Armed robbery, intersection of Webb Street and Hosier Road, June 24, someone reports that three armed men approached his vehicle. They removed approximately $70 from the victim and assaulted him.

Grand larceny, 200 block Walnut Street, June 24, someone removed a 100-foot section of chain link fence from the back of a school.

Vandalism, 100 block Carver Avenue, June 24, someone punctured the tires of a '70 Chevrolet Impala.

Petty larceny, 300 block Carolina Road, June 24, someone went to a beauty parlor for an appointment and brought her child along. She then left without paying for the services or for the damages caused by the child.

Breaking and entering, 800 block Seminole Drive, June 25, someone entered a residence by removing an air conditioner. Once inside, three VCRs, a 13-inch color television and the air conditioner were removed.

Malicious wounding, 100 block South Capitol Street, June 26, someone pulled a steak knife during an argument. While trying to defend himself, a man was cut twice.

Breaking and entering, 1600 block Holland Road, June 22, back door lock pried off and jewelry stolen.
