Jesse L. Spence Jr., 76, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died July 3, 1996. He was a native of Greensville County, Va., son of the late Jesse and Fannie Washington Spence.
He is survived by four sisters, Hortense S. Williams of Virginia Beach, Pauline Epps of Hampton, Celestee Davis of Newport News and Thelma Edwards of Chesapeake.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Macedonia Baptist Church, Emporia, Va., with the Rev. Robert Young officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Knox Funeral Service, Inc., Emporia.
