ERNEST EVANS JR.

Ernest ``Buddy'' Evans Jr., of the 600 block of W. 29th St., died July 2, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Evans, a native of Norfolk, retired from Camellia Foods. He had served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Willa Mae Evans; two daughters, Annie Lee Bolar and Cassandra Evans; a son, Michael Stokes Evans; a brother, Leroy Evans of Salem, Va.; four grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Alice Mae Burrus, and a brother, James Evans.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Chapel by Elder Willie Basnight. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. He will be missed and was loved by all, including a special friend, Curtis Wilson. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
