Sarah Elizabeth Price, 82, formerly of the 8600 block of Morwin St., died July 4, 1996.
Mrs. Price, the widow of Earl S. Price, was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church, Norfolk. She was a native of Ahoskie, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy P. McKewen of Virginia Beach, Betty L. Shoemaker of Bridgeton, N.J.; three grandchildren, Lynn Draper, Joseph Shoemaker and Erety Shoemaker; and two great-grandchildren, Amber Sarapata and Channing Tuttle.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Frances Truitt Moody in Christ United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 5701 Caddoan Road, Virginia Beach, following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach, is in charge.
