Fire investigators have charged four people with arson.
Three of the arrests came after seven arson fires in three weeks hit vacant buildings in Campostella Square.
Fire investigators have charged Kendall Williams of Stallham Road and two juveniles, ages 13 and 14, in two of those fires.
One of the fires occurred June 19 in the 2000 block of Oxford Road and the other on June 21 in the 2000 block of Wagon Road, according to Greg Orfield, an investigator with the fire marshal's office.
Each of those arrested was charged with two counts of arson to an unoccupied dwelling.
In a separate incident Thursday, a 16-year-old set fire to the attic of his family's home after arguing with his parents. The parents had left the home, on Fordyce Court, after the argument. The fire caused major damage to the home's roof.
The youth later turned himself in at a fire station and was charged with one count of arson to an occupied dwelling. He is being held at Tidewater Detention Home.
The house is so badly damaged that it cannot be occupied, authorities said.
