Hersey E. ``Popeye'' Copeland Sr., 57, of the 1600 block of County St., died July 3, 1996. He was retired.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Copeland; a daughter, Joyce Henderson; two sons, Hersey E. Copeland Jr. and Rickey V. Copeland; his mother, Sallie Phillips; a brother, John E. Copeland; five grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Copeland.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
