Eunice Highsmith Owens, 91, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, died July 4, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Owens, the widow of Clyde Layton Owens, was a native of Mt. Olive, N.C. She was a member of Baylake United Methodist Church, Norfolk Doll Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and Thoroughgood Garden Club.
Survivors include two great-nephews; a great-niece; and two great-great-nieces.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Ted David. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
