Margaret West ``Peggy'' Outten, 49, died July 6, 1996, in Northampton-Accomack Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Outten, a native of Exmore, Va., was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of the College of William and Mary, and former teacher at Broadwater Academy. She was a Paul Harris Fellow and a member of Exmore Rotary Club.
Survivors include her husband, E. David Outten; a daughter, Kate Outten of Belle Haven; a son, John David Outten of Belle Haven; a sister, Betty Ann West Jones of Williamsburg, Va.; a brother, Roger S. ``Buddy'' West III of Virginia Beach; her mother, Mildred Shockley West. She was predeceased by her father, Roger S. West Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Tammy Estep in Belle Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Broadwater Academy, Exmore Va. 23350 or American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Benjamin Mears, Eastville, Va. 23347. Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, is in charge.
