Edward Joseph Savage, of 417 Voltaire Place, died Tuesday July 2, 1996, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Wisconsin on Sept. 18, 1935, son of the late Edward LeRoy and Doris Ann Fagen Savage. Mr. Savage was retired from the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Manley Reece, Post 2573, Wilmington.
Survivors include his sons, Chris Savage and Scott Savage of Chesapeake; daughter, Teresa Ann Savage of Suffolk; sister, Cleone Savage Etz of Portsmouth; two grandchildren; and a very special friend, Shirley Price.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Wilmington National Cemetery with full military honors. Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel is in charge.
