MURIEL E. HOUSTON

Muriel Elaine Houston, 65, of the 3300 block of Rokeby Ave., died July 6, 1996, in her residence.

Mrs. Houston, a native of Long Island, N.Y., was a member of St. Brides Episcopal Church. She was a member of the National Wildlife Federation and was an honorary citizen of Boys Town.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll F. Houston Sr.; three sons, Steve W. Crabb of Louisiana, Roger A. Crabb of Georgia, and Keith E. Crabb of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three stepchildren, Carroll F. Houston Jr. of Alabama, and Patricia Ann Warren and James A. Houston, both of Mississippi.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday by Father Michael J. Godderz in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
