HEDWIGA J. RULA

Hedwiga Joan Rula died July 5, 1996, at peace in her home.

She was the widow of Stephen John Rula. She is survived by a son, Paul Rula of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Stephanie Rula of New York City, and Jeanie Davis and her husband, Kenneth Davis, M.D., of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Jean Opanowicz and Sylvia Flannery, both of Parsippany, N.J., Josephine Tamowksi of Kearny, N.J., Ann Park of Norwalk, Calif., Theresa Walendzinski of Harrison, N.J., and Constance Cowley of Dallas, Texas. She was the sister of the late Helen Frelak and Leonard Tamowski both of New Jersey.

Hedy was a devout Catholic, an accomplished seamstress and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. She was a loving and devoted mother and friend and will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Nicholas Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
