Howard Leon Wright III, 31, of the 400 block of County Line Road, died Friday, July 6, 1996 in the University of North Carolina Hospital, Chapel Hill.
He was born in Campbell County, Va., and was a 1983 graduate of Great Bridge High School. He received his bachelor of science degree from Virginia Tech and his masters in science degree from Duke University. He was employed by the National Technology Group in the Research Triangle.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Sherzey Wright; his parents, Howard Leon Jr. and Joyce Kay Bondurant Wright of Chesapeake; his maternal grandmother, Louise Bondurant of Lynchburg, Va.; an aunt, Sandra Newsome of Lynchburg; an uncle and an aunt, Hunter and Brenda DeJarnette of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Brooks & White Chapel in Roxboro, N.C., by the Rev. Chris Hill. Burial will be in the Aiken-Blalock Cemetery near the home.
