Police are seeking public help with these cases: Norfolk

The Bojangles restaurant in the 1500 block of E. Little Creek Road was robbed June 19 just before midnight by a man pretending to be a customer.

When he started to order, he produced a dark-colored handgun and demanded money from the cash register. After he got the money, he fled west and ran through an alley.

The suspect was described as black, in his mid- to late 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.

He had a short afro and a mustache and was wearing dark brown dress pants and a black shirt. Virginia Beach

Two men shoplifted clothes from the Sneaker Stadium on Phoenix Drive near Lynnhaven Parkway about 8 p.m. May 26.

They assaulted the security guard who confronted them, and then they fled the store.

The suspects were described as black, appeared to be in their 20s and had short hair.

One suspect had a goatee, and the other was wearing a black T-shirt with a large X on the front. Chesapeake

A thief is wanted for several grand larcenies in Chesapeake and neighboring cities.

The man was photographed June 26 as he took several pieces of expensive clothing from a department store. If you can identify him, please call Crime Line.

A number of burglaries have occurred in the Emerald Green area.

The most recent was in the 1200 block of Brassie Court June 22 in the early morning. The burglar entered through a window and took more than $40,000 in jewelry. Portsmouth

A man cashed a counterfeit check at Cenit Bank in the 3300 block of High St. in November 1995.

The man is described as a white male, in his mid- to late 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 130 pounds. He used the name Mike Lindwall when cashing the checks. Suffolk

Three buses in the school bus lot were vandalized June 22.

The alternators were stolen out of buses 123, 124 and 128, all Ford vehicles. The stolen alternators can be used only in another Ford.
