Margaret Lee Stewart, 81, of E. Tyler Crescent, died July 7, 1996, in her residence.
Miss Stewart was a native of Portsmouth and was a retired school teacher for Portsmouth Public Schools after 40 years. She was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a brother, Emmett D. Stewart Sr. of Courtland, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Walter Hunting. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
