Gladys M. Hunter, of the 5900 block of Poplar Hall Drive, died July 7, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was born in Morehead City, N.C., and was a retired domestic. She was a member of Greater Metropolitan AMEZ Church; the Altar Guild; and United Order of Tent.
Survivors include a cousin, Mable L. Dudley of Morehead City, N.C.; a niece, Gladys Wilson of New York City; and a goddaughter, Claudia Jordan of Hampton.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas Tucker in Greater Metropolitan AMEZ Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to church at 9:30 a.m.
