Derrick D. Wiggins, of the 3500 block of Tezzerro Trail, died July 6, 1996. He was a native of Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his mother, JoAnn Wiggins of Virginia Beach; his father, Robert Smith of Norfolk; two sisters, Shameka Wiggins and La-Tosha Wiggins, both of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Carrie Crumble of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, Ethel and James Smith of Baltimore, Md.; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. A.M. Lawson in Saint Mark A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at 884 Rockwell Lane, Virginia Beach. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is in charge.
