KATHLEEN MOONEY UPTON

We regret to announce the passing for Kathleen Mooney Upton.

Mrs. Upton was a graduate of the University of Michigan and has been an active member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She was a teacher at the Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she met and married her husband, then a Navy lieutenant. She had devoted her life to her family and to her strong belief in the value of education.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. John H. Upton, president of Rappahannock Community College; a daughter, Katie Cook; two sons, Steve Upton and Mark Upton; four grandchildren; and her sister, Eileen Evans.

The family respectfully requests that any donations be made to the Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 318, Warsaw, Va. 22572.
