Barbara Yoder Slabaugh, 83, of the 2300 block of Mt. Pleasant Road, died Monday, July 8, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Slaubaugh was a native of Ohio and the wife of the late Joseph Slabaugh. She was a member of Deep Creek Mennonite Church.
Survivors include a son, Olin Slabaugh; and two daughters, Sharon Zook and Laura Zook; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church by the Rev. Marvin Stutzman. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 9 p.m., today. She was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
