Christina Johanna Horvath, 96, of the 3700 block of Sentara Way, died July 8, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Horvath, a native of North Bergen, N.J., was the widow of Joseph Horvath. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Maywood, N.J., and American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post (NU)142 in Maywood.
Survivors include a daughter, Christina E. Jones of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sons, Joseph V. Horvath of Virginia Beach, Albert H. Horvath of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday by Pastor Daniel K. Davey in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J. The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service. A graveside service will be held in Paramus Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Reiner officiating.
