HAZEL BRISCO

Hazel Brisco, 95, formerly of the 2400 block of Cutherell St., died July 10, 1996, in Autumn Care of Portsmouth.

Born in Franklin, she was the widow of Nathaniel Brisco. She was a member of the Missionary Choir and the Mary V. Johnson Club of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a missionary and member of the Noon Day Prayer Band of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include an adopted daughter, Hazel Scott of Chesapeake; two nephews, James P. Holley and Raymond Holley, both of Portsmouth; two nieces, Doris Johnson and Pecolia Holley, both of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer Sr. in Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Hone will begin at noon Friday. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday and will assemble at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Saturday for the funeral service.
