The Rev. Millie Reeves Toler, 95, of the 1700 block of Lexington Drive, died July 9, 1996, in Guardian Care Nursing Home.
She was a native of Wayne County, N.C., and a former resident of Point Harbor, N.C. Mrs. Toler was the daughter of the late Robert and Melvinia Jones Reeves and the widow of the late Noah Mathias Toler. She was a member of Pearl Street Pentecostal Church and was a licensed minister with the International Pentecostal Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Seldon Toler Bundy of Elizabeth City and Marion Toler Crank of Norfolk; a son, James C. Toler Sr. of Fort Payne, Ala.; and a brother, Callie Reeves of Henderson, N.C. Also, she is survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Pearl Street Pentecostal Church by Rev. Earl Alexander and Rev. Max Edwards. Burial will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Powells Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, and other times at the home of Mrs. Margaret Toler, 1724 Lexington Drive, Elizabeth City.
