Susie B. McClain, 66, died July 10, 1996. Mrs. McClain was the resident manager of Linkhorn Place Apartments in Virginia Beach for 29 years.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph ``Mac'' McClain; two daughters, Rebecca Peach of Norfolk and Leslie Brewer Polen of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Norman Byrum of North Carolina and Marvin Byrum of Georgia; two sisters, Artelia Byrne of California and Annie Lou Stone of Georgia; and three beloved grandchildren, Thomas Hudson, Amy Hudson and Zachary Polen.
The family will receive friends today between 7 and 8 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Virginia Beach. The services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
