Jeanette F. ``Jean'' McKewen, 69, of the 4500 block of Old Princess Anne Road, died July 9, 1996. Born in Westhaven, Conn., she was the widow of Billy McKewen. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her daughters, Janet Springer of Oklahoma and Kathleen Griffin of Virginia Beach; a son, James McKewen of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Bertha Dwyer, Beatrice Leonard, Ann Bennis, Helen Sheridan, all of Connecticut and Virginia Baird of Maine; two brothers, Albert E. Withington of Seattle and Bobby Withington of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Jason Smith of Virginia Beach and Melissa Smith of Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach.
