Lucille M. ``Penny'' Hedgpeth, 74, formerly of the 300 block of Forrest Ave., died July 11, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Hedgpeth was a native of San Francisco, Calif. She was the widow of William ``Billy'' A. Hedgpeth. She was a member of Glenwood Park Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, James R. Hedgpeth and his wife, Joyce of Virginia Beach; and two nephews, Steve and Alan Hedgpeth; and her cousin, Ruth Brown of Eugene, Ore.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. by the Rev. Samuel Austin. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, in the Lamb Family Cemetery in Fairmont, N.C. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
