Pearl D. Etheridge, 84, of the 500 block of Summit Court, died July 12, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mrs. Etheridge was born in Wanchese, N.C., and was the widow of John F. Etheridge. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Aubrey G. Etheridge and wife, Bobbi, of Chesapeake; a daughter, Sue Burden; four grandchildren, Kenneth P. Etheridge, Debbie E. Proctor and husband, Michael, Carol Simpson and Brian Simpson; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Amanda Proctor.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Clark L. Mandigo in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
