PATTIE B. BONNEY

Pattie Butt Bonney, 87, of the 1600 block of Princess Anne Road, died July 12, 1996, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Bonney was a native of Princess Anne County, Va. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Eliza Butt. She was the widow of Herman R. Bonney. She was a member of the Nimmo United Methodist Church, where she served on their administrative board. She was a member of The Ella B. Nimmo Circle and the Cape Henry Womans Club.

Survivors include four sisters, Ruby B. Fentress, Louise B. Pulley, Ruth B. Watson, all of Virginia Beach, and Mary B. Shafer of Portsmouth; eight nieces, Verna Leonard, Mary Anne Simmons, Susan Flanagan, Jane Eilertsen, Betty Anne Huey, Mary Meeks, Sara Hetzler and Lou Pulley; and six nephews, Lee Fentress, William Fentress, Scott Brown, Ragan Pulley, Larry Pulley and Leslie Watson.

A church service will be conducted at noon Monday at Nimmo United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Morris. Interment will follow at Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Bonney's residence in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nimmo United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity of choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
